Zynga Game Engine Developer Plough iPhone

Zynga Inc. now employs two major developers who develop cocos2d, popular game engine that 'mendayai' best-selling iPhone applications.

Cocos2d is a free game engine that is used to make a game devices like the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Developers are hoping Farmville, using cocos2d developer team can help the company increase its role in the realm of games for smartphones and tablets.

Reported by Reuters and quoted on Tuesday (05/10/2011), indeed enthusiastically Zynga currently expanding through small steps. The goal is to dominate the gaming market and expanding internationally.

In the deal, the two developers, Ricardo Quesada of Argentina and Rolando Abarca from Chile, will work at Zynga's offices located in San Francisco, United States (U.S.). However, Zynga does not mention plans to acquire cocos2d. Both Zynga and the two developers were reluctant to mention the value of this agreement.

Chief Technology Officer Zynga, Cadir Lee said, his company has been using game engines on games for iPhone Farmville. According to him, by hiring two developers who are so 'central figure' in the development platform, will help Zynga master the technology.

"We will pay them to continue to develop the platform, as well as various tools to Zynga," said Lee.
